A hillside above a private cove on the south-eastern coast of Kéa.
Four stone villas. Each its own world.
Adults only. A kitchen that surprises. Wine that earns its place.
Kéa is the closest island to Athens, and yet the one no one finds. We keep it that way.
An hour by ferry from the mainland and a century from anywhere you have been. Bohémian is the work of one family — four villas on a single slope, a cove below, a very private beach, a kitchen, the wind and the fire.
We do not call it a hotel. There is no front desk, no key card, no breakfast buffet. There is a stone path to the sea, a wood-fired oven, and the names of every guest written by hand at the table.
Each built into the rock, faced in island limewash, furnished as one of the family rooms. Sleep two, sleep four. Take a single house, or all of them.

One hundred steps below the houses, a strip of pebble, entirely yours. Sun loungers and umbrellas set each morning. A wood dock for the boat. Water the colour you have seen in photographs and not believed.
The kitchen holds to a house menu, with a few lines rewritten each morning by whatever arrived at the dock — from the sea, the garden, the market in the village above.
The cooking is unhurried and precise. The wine list is long, seriously considered, international in range, and rooted, always, in Greece.
Walk down the coastal path or take the dinghy from the dock. The temple of Athena stands in the same air she stood in, two and a half thousand years ago. There is no ticket booth. There is rarely anyone else.
"We came for three nights. We stayed eleven."

We write back personally, usually within the day. Tell us when, who with, and what you hope a week here might be. We will tell you whether the villas are free, and whether the sea is right.
